What do you think are the best game and/or series revivals?

Just when you think a game or series is dead in the water or beyond salvageable. They release another great title that re-invigorates your faith in the developers behind the game or series.My personal nomination would be Final Fantasy XIV. It was released as quite possibly the worst big budget MMO in a decade and Square Enix changed the lead designer and painstakingly invested in reviving the game to be one of the best MMOs in the market right now. They literally redid all the maps, UI, and re-created entire gaming systems for the re-release, as well as weaving the destruction of the old world (the initial release) into the lore and backstory of the world itself.
