Why do tech companies never give out their isos of their older operating systems?

Apple makes it nearly impossible to get old versions of their operating systems and so does windows. Like what do they gain by hiding a windows 95 ISO to play with in virtualbox or vmware. via /r/tech https://ift.tt/2LI9mfv
