XS/ XS Max Charging Issue

Is anyone's XS/XS Max not charging when asleep/ idle? It will only begin to charge when the phone is tapped or lifted (so therefore put onto lock screen). This is a known issue and Unbox Therapy has made a video on the matter. The problem comes in a few variations such as as mentioned or that it will take a few seconds to start charging; the list continues. via /r/tech https://ift.tt/2IqZsiz
