I may have given my computer a battery memory

Idk if this is the right place for thisIs there a way to fix a battery memory? My computer dies an hour after I unplug the charger. It's a recent HP so I could get another battery but I want to save that as a last resort. Any suggestions? via /r/tech https://ift.tt/2IG8tbh
