What's the panel called for remotes?

In my apartment building we have a big social area with big screen TV and it has an apple tv. The remotes don't aim at any boxes. Instead there's a smooth circle on the wall that receives all the channel inputs. What's that piece called? via /r/tech http://bit.ly/2Wh77G8
