Does any 5.1 home cinema system have surround sound if the sound source have this capability ?

I want to buy a Samsung HT-J4500 home cinema system to connect it to my TV and play movies from a laptop ( laptop-tv(hdmi)-home cinema(hdmi arc)) but I am not sure if I will have surround sound . via /r/tech https://ift.tt/2BVdkPF
