Lag Compensation

I hope this situation relate to this thread . My brother finally got an upgrade on his internet . 75mb to 1000mb from AT&T . And , my cousin challenged my brother on a 1v1 on modern warfare and got dominated by my brother . This happened 3 days ago . Today my cousin came to a conclusion that my brother had the advantage because of this thing called “lag compensation” . He literally looked it up and took pictures of the duel . Never realized this existed but I want to know is , who is in the right ?
