Macbook owners, Are Macbook Pro's Silent?

I'm thinking of getting a macbook pro (i5 8gb ram) for an extra silent laptop to work on.I'm not looking to game or do anything strenuous on it, would just like it for browsing and writing.Are Macbook Pro's Silent? Or possibly something similar. I've had a few laptops which have made some mechanical sounds or the fans have just been constantly whirring audibly.I would like to find a laptop to work on which isn't distracting and silent most of the time. via /r/tech https://ift.tt/2Ve6Pky
