Using a gaming laptop for business ?

I have always struggled using MacBooks and other laptops because the performance. I just can’t deal with the slow processing anymore. Would it be dumb to buy a gaming laptop like a razer blade 15 for work? I’m just thinking of the processors and how that might translate. Also have used a dell laptop and also not a fan.
