Meta Monday: Financial Reports and Milestones

It is the 9th Monday of the year (if I did the incredibly simple math right, which is never a given), and so that means it is time for the 3rd Meta Monday thread of 2021. We only have one topic to talk about this time:Financial Reports - On topic and informative? The question is this: are reports about how a particular game-related company is doing financially something that you want to see on the subreddit? This includes headlines about investments into companies and earnings over a period of time - other things like buyouts, mergers, and shutdowns would be separate, as they are much more influential on the continued development of games by said companies.A borderline case related to the above is posts about total number of copies sold of a game - if a game has a high number of copies sold, do we allow that as its own post? At what point is the cutoff - if a milestone is reached, but later a higher one is achieved, would we want to allow the newer one? Is a post about number of copies sold analogous to a financial report?General FeedbackIf you want to talk about anything not listed here that is relevant to /r/Games, you may also leave that here as well. If it is a complaint regarding a specific post or mod action, consider sending a modmail for a more detailed response. That is all for this week. As an aside, the flairs discussed in the past two months have finally been implemented. If you submit posts, consider using them! via /r/Games https://ift.tt/2ZYK3zo
