Chillquarium - Ben Reber - A relaxing idle aquarium game with all the joys of FishVille Fish Tycoon and Insaniquarium but none of the stress or microtransactions!

Chillquarium is a wholesome idle aquarium game. Buy booster packs full of new fish, and watch them grow up in real time so they can earn money through ticket sales! Every fish has multiple rare coloration variants, so it is a collectathon as well as an incremental game. Everything is designed to be cute, positive, and relaxing.Steam Page: https://ift.tt/fcDKaRe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw0LBbu24XMI loved playing aquarium games as a kid. FishVille was the one I played the most. The game was awesome, but unfortunately, it was also designed to try and get kids to "get mom's wallet" to spend money on microtransactions. Worse, it was designed to keep players addicted by punishing them for not playing regularly enough. If you didn't feed your fish on the right schedule, they died. If you didn't clean their tank every day, they died. Playing the game was like signing up for a chore list, and if you weren't able to keep up with those chores, horrible things would happen to your virtual pets.Chillquarium is an aquarium sim game with all of the joys of collecting cute, rare fish, and none of the exploitative mechanics. I wanted opening the game to be a positive and wholesome experience every time. I didn't want people to be taken advantage of by microtransaction-driven monetization or worry about their virtual pets dying. So I made that game! All of the art, coding, design, and music have been made by me. There is a free demo available on Steam. Currently only the Windows build is live, but I have plans to add native MacOS and Linux support. The game will be releasing in Summer 2023. Wishlisting the game on Steam is a free way to support my indie game and passion project by promoting it in the Steam algorithm. Thanks :) via /r/Games https://ift.tt/DqpiZow
