FishVille was the one I played the most. The game was awesome, but unfortunately, it was also designed to try and get kids to "get mom's wallet" to spend money on microtransactions. Worse, it was designed to keep players addicted by punishing them for not playing regularly enough. If you didn't feed your fish on the right schedule, they died. If you didn't clean their tank every day, they died. Playing the game was like signing up for a chore list, and if you weren't able to keep up with those chores, horrible things would happen to your virtual pets.Chillquarium is an aquarium sim game with all of the joys of collecting cute, rare fish, and none of the exploitative mechanics. I wanted opening the game to be a positive and wholesome experience every time.
